I spent several hours with an incredible women last week. Many of you know her as Lola Audu--the blogging queen here in West Michigan. I have been very fond of Lola for many years and find that she is one of those people that you meet, and know she is a very special person.
While others are out there hiding what they do, Lola is so willing to share and believes that we can all have a piece of the pie. So she gave a class on blogging. I decided to take the class because I knew that I had to get into this blogging gig or go down the tubes. But I was scared to death as I recalled the number of hours I put into my web-site. Don't get me wrong--my web-site LiveInWestMi has been very profitable and last year I did 27 sides because of it. BUT it was a lot of work and a lot of learning and I just didn't know if I was up to that.
As I listened to Lola, I began to realize that this "blogging" gig isn't near as hard as building a web site. And I am learning from the best and most kind person in the world. Yet I am still dragging my feet. So here I am jumping in with both feet. I managed to get two links in--a lot of this is going to be easier because of everything I learned building a web site (is web site two words, one word or hyphenated anyway? LOL).
I have now signed up for Lola's Blogging Boot Camp. June the 5th I will once again be a sponge with Lola pouring the knowledge to me and hopefully I will absorb it. I know she has the patience of a saint and a heart of gold.
So my questions as I post this, Lola, is did I do the linking correctly, what tags should I use and what is the "Title" section for when you insert the hyperlink--I have never titled a hyperlink. Also is there any advice specifically to this blog.

Tami, I just stopped by to see what you were up to. Thanks for incorporating me into your Associates list. I'm impressed by how much you've picked up! As well as surprised and humbled by your subject. :) It looks like you have done the hyper-linking correctly.
I would encourage you to post this blog in a couple of groups such as: Kent County Real Estate, Greater Grand Rapids Real Estate, Realtors Group Fraiche Aire & E-Pro Group. (Groups can be searched via the link under the address bar) You will have to join each group to post to it.
Your tags look OK too, but I would add your name & Five Star real estate. We will be covering these types of topics & more in the Blogging Boot Camp. Look forward to seeing you there!

Yes I did add you as an associate . . .although I have no idea how I did it.. LOL Is that a good thing?
I added your suggestions for tags. I have started a list of questions and one of them was a question about posting in groups. Do you always post to your blog first and then also to the groups that apply?
I ordered many of the books we talked about but of course the blogging one has not shown its face yet. But I am looking forward to reading more on blogging and very much looking forward to the class!
