There are people out in the world who don't view the glass as half full. It is always half empty. There are people in this world who think that their problems are the worst. . .no one could have it worse than me! They wallow in their own self pity. Have you ever seen someone get so mad about something so stupid and then wondered if they have ever had a real problem in their life? If they can get so angry over something so trivial, how are they going to deal with a REAL problem?
This is an incredible story about getting back up again. The man in this story is THE story about the glass being half full! The smile on his face is incredible and the determination is immeasurable. If half the people in the world had half of his determination . . .the world would be a better place! I applaude him for what he does! He brings his story to the kids of today. So many of them have not been taught how to cope with a problem . . he is teaching them!!
If you put his name in the search bar on Youtube, there are several of him in there. I could have watched them all day long! I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

amazing...thanks Tami for making my day!
Wow! That is really telling like it is! You only fail if you do NOT get back up! Thanks for the video, I loved it.
what a guy - thanks for sharing this!
Wow, good inspirational post here, Tami! It is troubling to me when I see people get so upset over meaningless things. They could learn a lesson from this gentleman.
I saw this the other day, and sent it to everyone I know, this guy is amazing, when he jumped in the pool....I could not believe he could swim...amazing.
Tami Vroma! You have me dropping tears into my keyboard! I would say that that is most definitely a reason for a re-blog! Thank you for the inspiration that is so needed across the board. WE CAN pick ourselves back up again!
God bless and may you and yours have a very Merry Christmas!
Debbie
Kimberly - It made my day too! My daughter and I have been sitting here reading his other YOutubes!
Linda - You only fail if you fail to try and try and try and try . ..
Susan - Your so welcome!
Kris - I agree!! Just makes you wonder sometimes!
Konnie - My daughter and I actually went looking to see how he swims . .his little drumstick as he calls it is quite amazing and he can type 43 words a minute . .incredible!
Jim- He sure has and he is an inspiration to all!
Debbie - Had me tearing up to girlfriend!!
Tami - I saw his story last year. It makes me realize how truly blessed I am. Problems? What problems? :)
It is good to have such people sharing with kids. They really don't have a clue (and niether do we) sometimes.
How true when he said in the video with Robert Schuller: "we should not compare sufferings". After a dismal childhood I had a chip on my shoulder when meeting others. I would always "compare sufferings" and somehow take solace in the fact that my childhood was worse than someone elses, but I had made it out OK. Then I found Jesus and realized that each persons sufferings, now matter how slight or severe when compared to another, is sever to them and only through the grace and power of God are we brought through it and able to use it for the Glory of God. I gave up my smug little attitude and humbled myself before God and thanked him for my trials and tribulations. All is for the Glory of God. It's hard to swallow sometimes and listening to the story of this young man certainly puts things into perspective, but the bottom line is that 'we can do all things through He who strengthens me'. One thing is for certain: God is good and it is through Him that we are blessed. He most certainly has a purpose for each and everyone of us.
I didn't really mean to get sidetracked, but my heart is full. Here's what I really wanted to say. I am thankful to live in such a great country. Despite all the trouble we face here in the US, there is still no better place to live on this planet. And in Real Estate we are limited only by our willingness to dedicate ourselves to the outcome. We can choose whether we want to make a lot or a little. I'm thankful for that opportunity, and for the ability to freely post my feelings and opinions in a public forum without fear of prosecution or retribution.
WOW!!
I'm Inspired and truly moved by that one! I'm Speechless but HeartFilled!!
Thanks Tami, have a blessed Holiday!! :-)
That sends a great message, very cool...I think I will share it with some friends today...thank you for sharing it with us!
Hi Tami;
WOW! I am very moved by your post and that wonderful man. I am touched. If he could be positive and productive then we all can. Happy Holiday!
Tami - Wow. Amazing. It put tears in my eyes. We should take lessons from this guy. Thanks for sharing such an inspiring post.

That is definitely an inspiring story. Thanks for sharing it.
Tami I always say go live somewhere else for six months and see if you can take it.
Very inspirational! Shows what the human spirit can accomplish no matter the odds!
Debi - I agree- things like this put our life in perspective. I admire this kid in such a huge way!
Steve - I think that is the biggest thing about this . . what he is giving these kids is priceless!
Eric - Believe me I get it . . my childhood was the stuff books are written of . . .I am thankful that I have the Lord in my life and I get my "revenge" by being a better mother. Revenge isn't the right word but in them is the generation of my husband and I's hard won battle.
Brad - I am inspired by him too!
Christopher - It caught me off guard also!
Christine - Sounds great because I found it by a friend sharing it with me!
Anthony - I completely agree!
Rosalina - You should check out the others on Youtube of him . .they really had me tearing up!

John-Couldn't agree with you more!
Gabe I think it is my inspiration for the year!
Tami, I've seen this before. I cried then and I cried now. Really puts it all into perspective. Merry Christmas to you and your famil.!
Wow, Life really is all about what you do with it!!
Inspiring, uplifting... and of those good "ing" words....
A scholar (I don't remember which one)once said: "I cried, because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet".
of course Steven Wright updated it to say "I cried, because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet... and I asked him... 'do you have any shoes you're not using?' "
That just put everything into perspective... :)
Thanks for sharing this. This is a reminder to shift the focus from minor personal irritations that we experience to appreciating the numerous blessings that God bestows on us.
Tami- I remember seeing this before....and you are so right in that he sees life half full :)
Happy Holidays ....
Beautiful.
Thanks Tami,
just the thing I needed to reminded me that WalMart, traffic and grumpy people do not the world make.
Lovely to watch and how great he has the Internet and a voice so that he can impact us all so strongly.
Thank you again.
Tamara

He is awesome! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Happy Holidays to all!
Thank you so much for sharing that. Everyone has a story. And, no matter how hard you think you have it, there is always someone out there that is worse off. I may not have a million dollars, but I have a roof over my head, a job that pays my bills, food in my belly and my family and friends who love me. Even at tax time, when I hear people complain about having to pay Uncle Sam, I always say "Thank you, God, for letting me make enough money this year to have to pay taxes. Because I could be one of those unfortunate people that have no job." It's important that people like Nick keep our focus on all the good that life has to offer instead of wallowing in the bad.
Tami, What a touching story. I have seen shows featuring him and I am in awe each time I watch him. I just had my daughter watch the video...You are write when you say parents don't teach their children how to cope. I'm guilty. I'll work on that! My glass is half full and I'm so lucky. Thanks for the quick reminder to all of us, of how very lucky we are, at all times:) Merry Christmas Tami.
He is amazing. I wish I had his positive attitude all the time
Tami: Nick is a real inspiration and a natural born preacher, his love of the lord is radiant, a lesson for us all, thanks for the reminder.
PS. Congrats on the feature!!!!
Tami: I'm so glad I stopped by to view your blog. I can't get over how touching and inspiring this story is. Also, I bookmarked this page. This is definitely a video I can benefit from seeing again and again. Thank you so much for sharing this inspiring piece with me.
Tami, I have seen him before. God bless him and his attitude. Makes the rest of us pretty pathetic when we complain. There are so many wonderful things in life that we should stop and be grateful for but most get caught up in the trivial things that don't really matter. Good for you for sharing this video.
Tammy.....a very inspiring post...thanks for sharing!
Tami: Great video. Thank You for sharing. This is very inspiring !
The smile on his face is incredible and the determination is immeasurable. If half the people in the world had half of his determination . . .the world would be a better place! I applaude him for what he does! He brings his story to the kids of today.
Whew! That sure puts things into perspective. Thanks Tami!
Hi Tami - Nick was at our church a couple of months ago. He really makes you rethink your outlook. Thanks for sharing the video.
Tami It is good to have some inspiration once in a while.
It is ironic how we get so wrapped up in our own problems that we miss the miracles that are part of our every day life.
I saw this clip last year, and think it's brilliant to share this time of year---actually anytime at all. It's wonderful! Thanks for the perspective and blessing...

That was awesome! Thanks!
My son is 9 and asks me why he always feels sad. He has Aspergers but my husband and I have decided not to tell him about his syndrome for fear of him using it to get away with things. It breaks my heart! He is a very happy little boy 90% of the time, as afar as I can see - I only hope that he can conquer his fears someday like this man has done!
Tami - this was very moving and inspiring, this guy puts better than I do. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Tami, thank you for that, had not seen it before, just goes to show what the human mind, Spirit is truly capable of...
Nice post. ...and to be further inspired or depressed, go to www.klattrealty.com as there is a blind broker that is most likely kicking your butt in sales.....yet he has no idea what the house he closed for his client looks like. Blindfold yourself and then go out and try to sell homes. Think about that before one says that this business is too tough right now...
Tami ~ sob, sob.. what an inspiring you man! What an inspiration to all of us. i am sharing this with my children. Thank you.
